The Sports Nippon newspaper reports that popular musical artist Ayumi Hamasaki will sing the "Rule" theme song for James Wong and Twentieth Century Fox's live-action Dragonball: Evolution film adaptation of Akira Toriyama's Dragonball manga. Fox plans to use the song as the movie's theme in over 60 countries around the world. The up-tempo rock number will be released in 2009. The film itself will open on March 13 in Japan and then on April 8 in the United States. It' s sad to hear that Kageyama wont be singing the theme song for this Dragonball live action movie. What do you guys think about this? about Ayumi Hamasaki singing for a Dragonball movie? and also it will be open in japan on march 13, makkun's birthday

I think I'm glad that Kageyama didn't sang the song its going to be very disappointing because I already saw the trailer and having Kageyama there is like putting it at the same level of the original DB. Kageyama is still singing song for DB so I think that the movie doesn't count.

it will be weird not having Kageyama-san singing it, but if the movie isn't that good it may be for the better but I know fans would be expecting it. Nothing against Ayumi Hamasaki, cuz she has a good voice though. Have to wait and see how that movie turns out though

I already saw the movie in theaters and I was very disappointed. I could've made a better movie than that. Haha
But seriously though, I'm glad Kage didn't sing for the movie. XD
